It often happens that the sense of what is in line with the ethical, social or organizational culture of the company is not easy and obvious at all. Choosing the right, though often more difficult, way to achieve business goals, we must let the company's ethical values apply to all its aspects without exception ...


On 22 March 2018 in Warsaw, a gala organized by Puls Biznesu was held, during which the results of the "Ethical Company 2017" Competition were announced. The aim of this initiative is to distinguish companies that systematically conduct activities aimed at building and strengthening an organizational culture based on ethics, showing the highest activity in this area compared to other enterprises in Poland.

Among 28 awarded finalists, apart from big players on the market, there were also companies representing the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition to this change, the organizers have also introduced a new, special category called "Super Ethical Company". Among the 9 winners in this category there was PCC EXOL SA.. Other companies awarded in the new category are: Johnson & Johnson Poland, Siemens, Raben Group, Bama Logistics, CEMEX Polska, Citi Handlowy, Janssen-Cilag Polska, ANG Spółdzielnia.

The next competition category is "Big Companies". Here, among the winners were: AbbVie Polska, Bank Zachodni WBK, CMC Markets UK S.A. Branch in Poland, Saint-Gobain Polska Group, ING Bank Śląski, PKO Bank Polski, Kompania Piwowarska, KRUK, Nationale-Nederlanden, Provident Polska, Pramerica Życie TUiR, PZU, Schenker.

Information about the Ethical Company Competition

  • This year, the 4th edition of the Competition took place.
  • In this year's edition, 227 participants applied for the competition, of which 75 companies were qualified.
  • Contest participants are subject to very thorough verification conducted by a special team of analysts from PwC.
  • PwC Polska is the content partner of the Competition.
  • The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology is the honorary partner in this year's edition.
